  1. Amanda,
I really like the statement “Education is not a problem. Education is an opportunity.” –Lyndon B. Johnson
This quote is simple and the meanings behind it, is endless.
And the other quote that speaks to me “Everything I offer to the children is for their benefit, not mine.” –Raymond Hernandez

This quote has a purpose and is not self-centered. In the field of early childhood the focus should be to benefit the child first before self. I enjoyed reading your quotes of inspiration.

  2. Amanda-
I love the quote by Lyndon B. Johnson: "Education is not a problem. Education is an opportunity." I wish that all people viewed it this way, but, unfortunately, they do not. A lot of kids grow up loathing education/school. It's sad because education is just a pathway for their future. I think that this quote fits perfectly for the field of early childhood education because if we can motivate a child in the early stages of life, showing him/her that school/education is a positive experience, then hopefully they will view it as a vital pathway to take! Thanks for sharing!
