Closing Time

It is hard to believe that 8 weeks have already come and gone. While my educational journey has just begun, I am sure that because of this foundations class, I will complete my Master's program successfully. I truly enjoyed getting to know all of my colleagues and learning about their passions regarding children. Hopefully we will all run into one another once again.

  1. Amanda-
I have had such a wonderful learning experience, and beginning to the Early Childhood field, and you have contributed tremendously! I enjoyed reading your discussion, and blog posts, and I felt like we really connected. Your experience in the field opened my eyes to different areas, and your dedication to serve our military families is commendable. I know that you will go far with such high aspirations, and will continue to grow as a leader in the field. I wish you the absolute best in your career, and I hope to take more classes with you throughout the program!!! Thank you for the support that you have provided me!! Please do not hesitate to contact me! I would love to stay in touch!!!!

  2. Amanda,
I want to start by saying it has been a pleasure having you to communicate with throughout this course. We share so many similar insights together in this field. Not only because we work in similar work environments but also because It made me happy not to be alone (working for youth programs at an air base in the middle of nowhere!) to see another person laugh and share some of the same situations and experiences with. Thank you for your comments and positive feedback on blog and discussion postings. There is no doubt we connected throughout this course. I wish you well in all your studies and wonder if we will keep in contact throughout this degree program in other courses. I would hope that we stay in touch and if you ever go to visit or PCS to Nellis AFB or Minot AFB don’t hesitate to let me know. I’m always willing to help. And I’m always interested in attending a TDY or training elsewhere! (So I don’t stay in one place for too long) for Boys and Girls club! Who knows we may very well meet one day.
